I swear, this time I’m back.

"Mm, you love it though." Connor kissed her happily and wrapped his arms around her before climbing off her. "Last breakfast before we get married?"

"That is why I chose to marry you." She mumbled before standing up, running her fingers through her hair. "Yeah, of course. Not too much though, I feel so nervous…wouldn’t want to throw up."

Con stood up with her, unable to let go of her for even a second. They were going to spend too much time apart as it was.

"Nervous?" He leaned in to peck her cheek. "It’s only me, Abs. Nothing to be nervous about."

"And you’ll look beautiful in your dress." Connor pulled Abby down onto the floor on top of him and kissed her before rolling over on top of her.

"You’re a bit ridiculous, I hope you know that." She chuckled and leaned into kiss him. "Like I said, I need to get to Jess’ soon to go get in the dress and you know she’ll hold me up for five hours to do hair and make up and talk and probably cry."

"Mm, you love it though." Connor kissed her happily and wrapped his arms around her before climbing off her. "Last breakfast before we get married?"

Connor looked up at her from the floor, and blinked a few times. “We’re getting married today, Abby!” He crawled across the floor to her and sat on his knees. “I love you so much.”

"We are," Abby nodded, a small laugh escaping her mouth. "I love you too, Connor, I can’t wait to see you in that tux. You’ll look absolutely amazing," She told him, leaning down to kiss him gently.

"And you’ll look beautiful in your dress." Connor pulled Abby down onto the floor on top of him and kissed her before rolling over on top of her.

"Oh. Dinosaurs? Tha’s one tha’ I’d never actually considered." His accent came out fairly thick, both the American South and the Liverpudlian. “‘M more used to the um…The supernatural type of stuff. A whole year? You were stuck there for a whole year…How?" At his question, Jude shrugged. "Not tha’ I know of. Jus’ wandering through, really."

"She kept me alive, and I kept her sane. The first shelter we built… It wasn’t our best. It collapsed on us one night, and almost caught on fire. Abby saved me. She had this journal… She kept everything in it. Every dino we saw, every plant, animal, everything. Our time there… it made me love her even more."

"Sorry. I’m getting carried away."

Abby was stirred awake by his constant moving. “Late? We can’t be late to our own wedding, it’s not as if they can do it without us.” She practically groaned, opening her eyes and sighing. “I have my dress at Jess’…suppose I’ve got to get there before anything.”

Connor looked up at her from the floor, and blinked a few times. “We’re getting married today, Abby!” He crawled across the floor to her and saton his knees. “I love you so much.”

Nightmare inducing for Jude consisted of stone angels with wicked faces, demons with coal black eyes, and other things. But his imagination stretched far enough that he was able to envision Connor’s words. “Tha’ sounds like a fairly terrifying thing to deal with. ‘S tha’ wha’ those anomalies have?”

"Dinosaurs, too. My fiancee and I were stuck in the Cretaceous for a year." Connor shook off the thought. "Anyway, what’re you doing here? Got something you’re after?"

lizardgirlabby:

"Mm," She nodded and though she didn’t toss and turn, as she didn’t want to wake him up, she did spend quite a lot of time thinking before she finally drifted off. Happy thoughts and happy dreams filled her mind.

"Abby we’re late!" Connor sat straight up and got off the couch at the sound of his alarm, falling flat on his face on his way into the bedroom.

About ten hours had passed. They were not late, at all. Connor had just forgotten that he set his alarm for earlier than usual.

lizardgirlabby:

"I’m just so excited. Might not be able to get any good, proper sleep." Abby yawned. Though she was tired, her stomach was doing flips just thinking about anything. She had hardly imagined herself getting married and tomorrow…that was exactly what she was doing.

"Try for me, Abigail." He gently ran his fingers through her hair and rested his head on the arm of the couch, finding one of her hands under the blanket and holding it in his free one.

He knew he would fall asleep soon enough. The sooner he fell asleep, the sooner the morning would come, after all.

"You’re leaving out cookies and milk to encourage an old fat man to break into our house?"

"No, I’m leaving out milk and cookies to encourage myself to actually wrap gifts tonight. The old fat man, he’s just a cover up."
